Rockstar Games is making sure Grand Theft Auto VI sounds just as big as it looks. Ahead of the game's November 19 release, Rockstar has officially revealed Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track soundtrack packed with original music built around the energy of Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.

The album was created in partnership with Atlantic Records and will launch alongside the game on November 19. Rockstar has already released the first six tracks, with a lineup spanning hip-hop, electronic music, Latin, country and rock.

Yung Lean links with Future and Metro Boomin on “That’s It,” Travis Scott delivers “RHYNO,” and PinkPantheress and Fred again.. appear alongside CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso and Etienne de Crécy on “Sexy Magic.” The first wave also includes Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need,” Rauw Alejandro’s “Macacoa 2000,” and Keith Richards’ “Bright Lights, Big City.”

Rockstar Is Treating GTA VI Like a Cultural Event

Music has always been a massive part of Grand Theft Auto. From cruising through Vice City with the radio turned up to discovering new artists through GTA V and GTA Online, Rockstar has consistently treated music as part of the identity of its worlds rather than simple background audio.

With GTA VI, that idea appears to be getting even bigger.

Instead of only revealing radio stations or licensed tracks buried inside the game, Rockstar is releasing a dedicated album featuring 34 original songs. That pushes GTA VI closer to the way a major movie, fashion project or cultural franchise launches, with music becoming its own standalone part of the experience.

The range of artists also feels perfectly suited for Vice City. GTA has never belonged to one genre, and a fictionalized version of Florida gives Rockstar room to pull from practically everywhere. Hip-hop, house, Latin music, country and classic rock all make sense in a world filled with supercars, clubs, beaches, yachts, dive bars and pure South Florida chaos.

The First Six Tracks Set the Tone

If the first releases are any indication, Rockstar wants the soundtrack to feel unpredictable.

A Yung Lean, Future and Metro Boomin collaboration already feels built for internet culture, while Travis Scott is one of the most obvious artists imaginable for a modern GTA soundtrack. On the other end of the spectrum, Morgan Wallen and Keith Richards dramatically widen the sound of the project.

Rauw Alejandro brings a Latin influence that fits naturally into GTA VI's Miami-inspired setting, while “Sexy Magic” combines CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy for one of the album's most unexpected collaborations so far.

Rockstar has only revealed six of the album's 34 songs, meaning another 28 tracks are still being kept under wraps.

GTA VI Is Bigger Than Just the Game

The soundtrack announcement is another sign that Rockstar is positioning GTA VI as much more than a normal video game release.

The company has spent years building anticipation around Vice City, Jason and Lucia, Leonida and the larger world surrounding them. Now that universe is expanding into music, physical releases and collectibles before players have even stepped into the game.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Considering how deeply GTA has influenced internet culture, fashion, cars, music and entertainment over the past two decades, a full 34-track album feels like a natural evolution for the franchise.

And with 28 songs still unrevealed, Rockstar probably has a few major surprises left.
