Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. hypecompany.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard, and we are working to address them.

Measures we take

• An accessibility menu, available from the icon in the top bar or by pressing Ctrl+U, with adjustable contrast, text size, spacing, line height, a dyslexia-friendly font, highlighted links, paused animations, a reading guide and more.
• Full keyboard navigation, a skip-to-content link, visible focus states and page landmarks for screen readers.
• Respect for your system's reduced-motion preference, and pinch-to-zoom is never disabled.
• Alternative text on images and captions or transcripts on video where available.

Known limitations

Some embedded third-party content, such as video players and social media embeds, is provided by other companies and may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We also publish a large volume of editorial content and are working through older articles to improve image descriptions.

Compatibility

hypecompany.com is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and with screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS.
