If you thought Jay and Silent Bob showing up in Call of Duty was wild, it looks like Seth Rogen might be the next operator joining the CoD universe.

During a teaser for Call of Duty’s highly anticipated Blaze Town event — a 4/20 takeover of the iconic Nuketown map — players spotted a not-so-subtle Easter egg: a character named " CanadianSmokeMonster " joins a lobby, followed by Seth Rogen’s unmistakable laugh.

The hint dropped during a video featuring Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith (Jay and Silent Bob), who already joined the Call of Duty roster earlier this month. With both Mewes and Smith exchanging stunned looks after hearing the laugh, it’s clear Activision is playing into the hype that Rogen could be next.

Fun fact: Rogen is a well-known gamer and cannabis enthusiast, making him a perfect fit for the Blaze of Glory themed event.

What's Coming in CoD’s Blaze of Glory Event?

The Blaze of Glory update promises major content additions for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare III players:

Blaze Town Map: A weed-themed Nuketown re-skin

New Operator Bundles: Featuring Jay, Silent Bob, and possibly Seth Rogen

New Weapon: Early leaks suggest a unique SMG built for aggressive gameplay

Ranked Play for Warzone: A competitive ranked mode for battle royale fans

New Multiplayer Maps: Expanding the Season 3 rotation

The midseason Reloaded update was delayed slightly due to Season 3's slow start, but it is expected to launch around May 1st , 2025.

Why Seth Rogen Fits the CoD Vibe Perfectly

Beyond the 4/20 themes, Seth Rogen is a natural addition to the Call of Duty ecosystem:

  • He has collaborated with gaming brands before.
  • He is a longtime FPS fan.
  • His laid-back persona fits the style of past crossovers like Snoop Dogg.

If Rogen becomes a playable operator, fans can expect themed skins, humorous voice lines, and possibly a signature weapon or finishing move.

Final Thoughts: Will Rogen Light Up CoD?

While Activision has not officially confirmed Seth Rogen’s arrival, the teaser all but guarantees his involvement. Whether it is a full operator bundle or a limited-time event reward, Call of Duty is leaning hard into pop culture with the Blaze of Glory update .
